Healing at the Halle Sound Bath Series

Embark on a transformative journey of healing and relaxation with our new sound bath series, Healing at the Halle, unfolding every third Wednesday of the month from February to October. Elevate your senses and nourish your soul through the harmonious vibrations of diverse soundscapes crafted by skilled practitioners.
The Grand Halle 2023-2024 Concert Series
Welcome to a brand new season of the Grand Halle Concert Series! This year, we will feature four intimate concert experiences featuring a variety of musicians. These groups will perform different works, from internationally acclaimed, award-winning pianist, Dr. Henry Davis to hometown opera tenor Shawn Roth.
A Musical Experience
The Grand Halle is an outstanding music hall with Gothic arches and a fluted vaulted ceiling that create a distinctive musical experience for patrons and musicians alike. Small ensembles and vocal groups can fill this room with sound without amplification. The Halle’s acoustics are especially noteworthy for organ, choral, and non-amplified instrumental music.
The Grand Halle Performance Series takes place from September through April and features a wide variety of fine programs. Local musicians are featured regularly, through programs such as the “inSPIREd: JSO at The Grand Halle” chamber-music collaboration with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. During the holiday season, we annually feature performances such as the SongWorks Christmas show, the Service of Lessons and Carols, and concerts on the Halle’s Adam Stein pipe organ – all in our festively decorated Halle.
